Reporting to the Director of Maintenance and Technical Services, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of the machines: diagnosing and solving complex and varied technical problems, participating in preventive maintenance activities and promoting the optimal use of equipment.
Job description
- Perform equipment troubleshooting in a safe and efficient manner;
- Propose and implement corrective measures in order to reduce production stoppages related to breakdowns;
- Document the interventions;
- Collaborate on technical improvement projects;
- Participate in the installation of new equipment;
- Do prevention on equipment;
- Be a major player in occupational health and safety;
- Any other task as required by his immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
- Salary: $ 22.00 to $ 30.00 per hour;
- DEP in electromechanics or any other relevant training;
- Certificate of qualification in electricity, an asset;
- Experience of 1 to 3 years;
- Experience with PLCs (asset);
- Ability to make electrical and mechanical diagnostics;
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical plans;
- Be able to work under pressure;
